ACHUKA Book of the Day 4 Jul 2025
“This early graphic novel features colorful illustrations, large panels, descriptive text, and engaging speech bubbles. Several Nepali words are incorporated throughout the story, with helpful footnotes providing pronunciation and definitions for readers unfamiliar with the language. While the fast-paced plot packs in plenty of twists […] the creative premise and expressive artwork make for an entertaining read. VERDICT A fun, mischievous graphic novel that will appeal to young readers.” SLJ
“Pradhan and Shrestha’s beautiful picture-book-like comic pulses with warm illustrations of softly rounded characters in a saturated palette. Dev’s frustration with being blamed for the yeti’s messes will surely resonate with elementary-school readers.” Booklist
