Manu was born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1990. She studied Graphic and Advertising Communication at the Universidad de Medellín, then went on to specialize in Art Direction with a Master’s degree at ELISAVA, in Barcelona. Since then, she has illustrated picture books and children’s books for leading publishers across Europe and around the world: Albin Michel Jeunesse, SM, Blackie Books, Penguin Random House, Usborne, Little Brown, Candlewick, Cataplum, and others.  Her work has been selected three times for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
