A glorious picture book filled with Rousseau-like art. The laser cutouts are beautifully, stunningly intricate. The designs work on both sides of the page, making the book an incredibly well-conceived work of art.
Hélène Druvert is an illustrator, paper and textile designer. She is the author of Paris Up, Up and Away, Mary Poppins Up, Up and Away, New York Melody and, with her father, Jean-Claude, Anatomy, all published by Thames & Hudson.
