After a two-year odyssey through the Chinese legal system, a state-owned Chinese publishing house has been banned from using Beatrix Potter's own illustrations in an unauthorised Chinese-language version of her much-loved children's books. The landmark judgment in favour of Frederick Warne and Co, a subsidiary of Penguin Books, is subject to appeal, but it is one of the few occasions when a Chinese court has found in favour of a foreign company... ...
