Biographical Sketch

Pete Johnson was born April 29th, 1965, in Winchester, Hampshire. He went to schools in Hampshire and Hertfordshire (where he now lives) and has worked as a film critic for Radio One; a journalist; and a teacher of Drama and English. His first published work was Secrets From The School Underground

The Ghost Dog won both the Stockton Award for Best Children's Book of the Year and the Young Telegraph Paperback of the Year awards.
The Protectors and Mind Reader were both included in Book Trust's 100 Best Books Of The Year 1999.
Ten Hours To Live has been shortlisted for a major Belgian Children's Book Award.
