My hair colour: Blonde
My eye colour: Blue
My star sign: Virgo
My shoe size: 4
My favourite book when child: Alice in Wonderland and Edward Lear's nonsense verse
My favourite fictional character: Harry Potter at the moment.
Of all time: Alice from Alice in Wonderland
Books that inspired me to become a writer/illustrator: Original edition of Alice in Wonderland with illustrations by Tenniel
My favourite author: Tom Sharpe
My ideal reading position: On a beach with a large hat lying on a sunbed
My usual means of marking a place in a book: A bookmark with 'her ladyship' written on it, given to me by Lady Sarah Maclean
My favourite time of year: Tortola Winters when it's Hotsy Totsy and in English Winters when it's frosty, cold and crisp
My favourite time of day: Very very early at daybreak and 7.30pm doing the horses and listening to Classical music. Classic FM in the evening is very peaceful and relaxing.
My best time for working: At night there's no interuptions. I often work from 12pm onwards
The first piece of work I was paid for was: A limerick for Pony Magazine when I was 7 for £5:
A rider came back from a trek and replied
With a gasp, 'Oh Heck'
To get to her yard
She found it quite hard
She was under her pony's neck!
My favourite TV show: Don't watch much but I like 'Blind Date'
My favourite song: 'Who Let The Dogs Out' by Brian Lee and the Dragonflies
My favourite actor: Richard Pryor
The creature comfort I would most unwillingly relinquish: I would never part from my horses
My favourite sweet food: Tiramisu (never eat it outside Venice)
My favourite savory food: Pheasant with homemade Port and Cranberry sauce - I love cooking
My typical bedtime is: Strange hours - I may work until 3am and get up at 6am; it depends how much work I've got or whether I'm showing the horses.
I sleep when I can.
My favourite year of childhood: Being 7 when I got my first pony called Promise
My mousemat design: Don't have one
The tidiest place in my home is: Nowhere - the stable yard is immaculate (could eat off it). There's more straw and hay in my house than in the yard.
The untidiest place in my home is: My studio
The working tool I would least like to do without: Very, very sharp 3B pencil and a Stanley knife.
