Biographical Sketch

Anthony Masters writes for both children and adults. He won the John Llewellyn Rhys Memorial Prize for his first novel, The Seahorse. A new adult novel, The Men, is published by Constable.

He is prodigiously prolific (a point touched upon in the interview). Many of his children's titles are directed at reluctant readers, particularly boys. He has just completed a non-fiction series for special needs children entitled Danger Zone, to be published by Franklin Watts.

His next title for Orchard (the publishers of Wicked) is to be called The Day of the Dead, a novel for older children which deals with illegal immigration from Mexicp across the Califirnian border.

Anthony Masters is married and has three children. He lives in East Sussex.
