Venetia Gosling Moves To Macmillan

Macmillan Children's Books has made further changes to its publishing team, appointing Venetia Gosling to the role of fiction publishing director.
Gosling moves from her role as fiction editorial director at Simon & Schuster, which she joined in 2003 having worked at Hodder for 10 years. Her start date at MCB is 19th March, ahead of the Bologna Book Fair. Gosling will report to publisher Belinda Rasmussen, and succeeds Ruth Alltimes who left at the end of December 2012 to join HarperCollins Children's Books.  
Also joining MCB will be Rachel Kellehar, who will start in February in the role of editor working across fiction and non-fiction, moving from her position as editor at A&C Black, Bloomsbury.
Meanwhile, Rachel Petty has been promoted to commissioning editor and will report to Gosling, commissioning new fiction titles for readers of six and up. Polly Nolan will remain as associate publishing director.
