For some time ACHOCKABLOG has taken an abnormally long time to load. By a process of elimination I have discovered that the script producing the Recent Searches listing in the left-hand panel was the main culprit, so it has, at least temporarily, been eliminated.
Performance seems significantly better, but I would be grateful for confimration from other end-users. So do drop us a comment letting me know if this has speeded thngs up or not.
