The Monsters&Critics website has backtracked on its earlier report that Cate Blanchett was lined up for the proposed movie about Beatrix Potter:
With regards to casting we had reported Cate Blanchett had been cast but Phoenix told M&C today they could "neither confirm or deny" this.David Kirschner, Mike Medavoy and Corey Sienega are producing with Bruce Beresford set to direct via David Kirschner Productions.
