Forgive the hiatus, both in blog entries and Mail List update. I'm away from base...
Dropped the trusty ACHUKA camera while staying in Sheffield at the weekend and had to buy a new one in Glasgow yesterday. Despite a heavy cold, am enjoying a few days away in northern cities, daughter-visiting and shop-display-watching.
A stuffed nose, prevarication over camera replacement and the shock of hearing about John Peel's sudden death (like many people my age I've been listening to him since staying up for his midnight-2am show when I was sixteen, then having to try and keep eyes open on the bus to school the following day) had deterred me from coming in to the easyinternetcafe until now. Should find time for a bit of newsblogging tomorrow. Otherwise, normal service will be resumed next week.
