Hi, I'm Irene Opdyke's daughter Jeannie (Janina) I just found this sight by accident and saw that there were questions I could help with. I have kept up telling her story at schools and churches - anywhere... I feel this is a story that continues on and must be shared. Thank you for your wonderful comments about my Mom and her book. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
my email is hillsidegirl@gmail.com, I live in S.W. Washington State, phone is 360-225-4601.
Thanks and God Bless

She's dead.
I loved the book, we read it in school but now we are doing an obituary about her, she's dead and I need to know when she died.

I loved your book. I am 11 and in the middle school at Haverford. I know you got an award at Haverford College so I thought you might live near here. I say this because I am doing a project about the Holocaust. It would be great if you could come in. If so, please email me at ss_hawkeye25@yahoo.com
